Camp Adventure is Denmark’s most extraordinary nature experience destination, situated within the lush Gisselfeld Klosters forest in South Zealand, just one hour’s drive from Copenhagen. The centrepiece of the site is the Skovtårnet, or Forest Tower, a 45-metre-high architectural masterpiece designed by award-winning Danish firm EFFEKT Architects. The tower spirals upward through the centre of a preserved stand of ancient beech trees and is reached via 900 metres of gradually inclined boardwalk through the forest canopy. From the top, visitors enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view stretching across South Zealand and, on clear days, all the way to Copenhagen and Sweden. Named by TIME Magazine as one of the 100 Best Places to Visit in the World in 2019, the Forest Tower has become one of Denmark’s most iconic modern attractions. The climbing park is the largest in Denmark, with 12 treetop courses featuring over 150 individual obstacles at varying heights and difficulty levels, connected by Denmark’s longest zip line at 500 metres. The Clic-it magnetic safety system ensures continuous attachment from start to finish, making the park accessible and safe for children from age three and adults of all abilities. Accommodation in the Forest Village includes luxury yurts, valley cabins, lakeside lodges, and a communal cottage sleeping up to 14, all designed to blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings. A seasonal flower farm, sauna, hot tub, guided forest walks, and on-site food stalls complete a destination that transforms with each season.
