The restaurant draws its inspiration from the opulent kitchens of Hyderabad’s Nizam dynasty and the legendary dum pukht cooking method, in which meats and vegetables are sealed in handis with dough and slow-cooked in their own juices, allowing the ingredients to develop an intensity of flavour and aroma that is unmistakable. The interiors are befitting of royalty, featuring huge arches, long pillars, gigantic crystal chandeliers, silken drapes, carpeted flooring, and well-spaced seating arrangements that evoke the grandeur of a Nawabi era dining hall. The menu spans the celebrated cuisines of Awadh, Bengal, and Hyderabad, prepared by chefs whose lineage of culinary knowledge dates back to the personal cooks of the Nawabs. Signature dishes include the melt-in-the-mouth Kakori Kebabs, the slow-cooked Dum Pukht Gosht Biryani, the Murgh Chandi Tikka, and the iconic Dal Dum Pukht.
