L’Atelier de la Création

L’Atelier de la Création was founded in 2006 by Alexandre and Thomas, two friends bound by a shared passion for textiles and creative craftsmanship. Beginning with their first boutique in Paris, they expanded steadily over the following years, establishing a welcoming network of shops in Paris (locations in the 12th and 14th arrondissements), Lyon, Bordeaux, Vincennes, and Boulogne-Billancourt, each offering the same warm, expert service and carefully curated range of materials. The shops are designed to feel like true ateliers — spaces where creativity is encouraged and visitors are invited to touch, explore, and dream. The range encompasses high-quality fabrics sold by the metre, including designer cottons, linens, jersey, silk, and specialty textiles, alongside an outstanding selection of yarns in cashmere, merino, alpaca, and innovative blends. The haberdashery offer is equally impressive, with thousands of buttons, ribbons, braids, patterns, sewing accessories, and embroidery supplies. L’Atelier de la Création is also a destination for jewellery makers, with one of the most extensive bead and perlerie selections available in France, including prized Miyuki brands. Regular workshops and courses are held in-store, and detailed tutorials, DIY kits, and creative inspiration are available on the brand’s online shop and blog.
