Itsy Bitsy is India’s premier art, craft, and hobby retail destination, founded in 2008 by Harish and Rashmi Closepet with a dual purpose: to provide a comprehensive creative supplies store for Indian consumers and to generate meaningful employment for women in rural communities. Today, Itsy Bitsy employs over 3,000 women directly and indirectly and operates 39 stores across 17 cities in India, including multiple branches in Mumbai such as Phoenix Market City Kurla, Colaba, and Ghatkopar. The store stocks a vast catalogue of over 15,000 products, covering painting essentials, scrapbooking, card making, jewellery making, candle and chocolate making, flower making, needle craft, quilling, decoupage, clay modelling, paper crafting, baking supplies, and school project materials. More than 70 percent of products are proudly made in India, with a strong emphasis on handmade, heartmade goods crafted in Itsy Bitsy’s own manufacturing facilities. The brand imports leading international craft lines from the US and Europe including American Crafts, Sizzix, Tim Holtz, and Ranger. Regular in-store workshops and demos make Itsy Bitsy a creative experience as much as a retail destination. Its online store ensures nationwide reach for crafters far from a physical outlet.
