Bruxelles Formation

Bruxelles Formation is the official public body responsible for French-language vocational training for job seekers and employed workers across the Brussels-Capital Region. Established under a regional mandate and partially funded by the European Social Fund and the French Community Commission (COCOF), Bruxelles Formation coordinates the training offerings of more than 50 partner organisations and manages 11 of its own training centres spread throughout Brussels. The institution offers an extensive catalogue of over 500 certified training programmes spanning digital skills, management, foreign languages, eco-construction, logistics, hospitality, fashion, healthcare, and security. Each year, Bruxelles Formation and its partners support more than 16,000 job seekers and 4,500 employed workers, with approximately 80 percent of trained job seekers finding employment or continuing education within the year following their programme. Bruxelles Formation also coordinates the Brussels Cite des Metiers, a career and training information hub that provides guidance to residents across all professional pathways. The organisation works closely with Actiris and industry partners to develop bespoke in-company training programmes directly linking training delivery to confirmed hiring commitments from Brussels employers.
