The Institute of Culinary Education, commonly known as ICE, is one of the most celebrated culinary institutions in the United States, having been ranked as America’s Best Culinary School by USA Today in 2019. Its New York City campus is located at Brookfield Place, 225 Liberty Street, in lower Manhattan’s Financial District, and houses 12 professional teaching kitchens, six lecture spaces, a dedicated Chocolate Lab, a Hydroponic Garden, a Mixology Centre, and a Culinary Technology Lab. ICE offers one of the world’s largest programmes of recreational cooking, baking, and wine classes, training an additional 26,000 students each year beyond its professional career programmes. The recreational calendar is extensive and ever-changing, covering cuisines from around the globe, pastry and baking masterclasses, beverage education at every level, and themed events.
