Food For Foodies is Antwerp’s most exciting and culturally diverse cooking atelier, located in the vibrant and colourful neighbourhood of Antwerp-Noord, one of the most cosmopolitan urban districts in Belgium. Founded and run by Daphne, a passionate food lover and culinary explorer, the atelier offers a unique format that combines an immersive guided walk through the neighbourhood’s markets, bazaars, and food shops with a hands-on cooking workshop and communal meal. Workshops regularly explore cuisines from across the world, drawing on the rich multicultural character of the area to celebrate Afghan, Portuguese, Turkish, Indian, African, Middle Eastern, and Mediterranean culinary traditions, among many others. Every session provides participants with a genuine window into ingredients, cooking techniques, and food cultures that may be entirely new to them, creating an adventure as much as an education. Food For Foodies welcomes individuals through its scheduled public programme, available on Tuesdays for dinner and weekends for lunch, and also offers tailored private events for groups of eight or more, corporate team-building activities, birthday celebrations, and bespoke culinary experiences.
