Buddha Bellies Tokyo

Buddha Bellies is an intimate and widely celebrated Japanese cooking class located close to the Ueno and Akihabara areas of central Tokyo, offering a warm and accessible introduction to Japanese home cooking for visitors from around the world. The school was founded with the conviction that Japanese cuisine, while often perceived as complex and technique-heavy, is deeply rewarding and surprisingly accessible when taught in a supportive and enthusiastic environment. Classes are led by a Japanese chef instructor who is fluent in English and passionate about sharing the traditions, stories, and techniques behind the dishes being prepared.
