Cuisine de Bar is the convivial culinary offshoot of the legendary Poilâne bakery, one of Paris’s most celebrated bread institutions. Situated in Paris, the concept brings together the artisanal baking heritage of Poilâne with a creative and informal approach to cooking education and shared dining. Workshops offer participants the chance to work with Poilâne’s famous sourdough bread as a base for open-faced tartines, learning to combine seasonal toppings, house-made spreads, and artisanal charcuterie in ways that elevate simple ingredients to something extraordinary. Bread and pastry baking sessions draw on the deep technical knowledge of the Poilâne team, covering the principles of sourdough fermentation, flour selection, and the slow-baking methods that have made the Poilâne loaf an icon of Parisian food culture.
