Tokyo Summerland
Description
Tokyo Summerland is one of the most well-established waterparks in the Tokyo region, located in Akiruno City in the Tama area. The park is divided into two main zones: the Adventure Dome, an indoor climate-controlled pool area open from late March through mid-October, and Adventure Lagoon, the expansive outdoor section open seasonally from early July through late September. Signature attractions include the 650-metre Great Journey, one of Japan’s longest lazy rivers, and the DEKASLA waterslide, a group raft experience with a dramatic 20-metre drop. Monster Stream, which opened in June 2024, is an adventurous fast-flowing river that has quickly become a standout addition. The indoor Cobalt Beach features large wave pool areas with child-friendly shallow zones, while outdoor spaces include additional slides, a wave feature, and a climbing net attraction over the water. Beyond the pools, the park includes an amusement zone with a Ferris wheel, carousel, and family rides. Tickets must be purchased online in advance, and tattoos — including fake ones — are not permitted. Open from March to October, with outdoor pools active July to late September. The park is confirmed active for 2025 with seasonal pricing published on its official website.
