Adventure Park Malakasa
Description
Adventure Park Malakasa is one of the most popular outdoor activity destinations in the greater Athens area, located approximately 40 kilometres north of the city in a beautiful pine forest near the village of Malakasa. Accessible from the Athens-Lamia national road, the park has been welcoming families, school groups, and adventure seekers since its establishment and is consistently praised for the quality of its facilities and the spectacular natural setting in which they are located. The park’s centrepiece is its network of aerial flying routes, which send participants traversing between pine trees along ropes, bridges, and platforms at varying heights above the forest floor. Activities are carefully divided by difficulty and age, with squirrel-level courses for children aged three to seven, fox-level courses for ages seven to eleven, wolf-level courses for ages eleven to fourteen, and eagle-level courses for adults and older teens. Complementing the aerial courses, the park also offers archery, a bungee trampoline, a heavy trampoline, an Operation Tarantula obstacle challenge, a climbing wall, pedal go-karts, and a team play area for group competitions. Dedicated group event packages make the park an excellent choice for birthday parties, school excursions, and corporate team-building days. A vegetable garden near the children’s area adds a gentle educational element for younger visitors. The park is equipped with a canteen for refreshments, ample parking, and accessible facilities throughout. Safety is paramount, with all aerial activities using the internationally recognised CLiC-iT safety system to guarantee continuous protection at every point on the course.
