Campamento Ucaima

Campamento Ucaima is one of Canaima National Park’s oldest and most storied lodges, situated on the banks of the Carrao River in the northern sector of the park, surrounded by a landscape of extraordinary natural beauty. The campamento’s five cabins contain 14 rooms in double, triple, and suite configurations, each with a private bathroom, balcony with hammock, excellent natural ventilation, and complimentary mineral water and ice. A panoramic dining room serves carefully prepared Pemon and Venezuelan cuisine at every meal, and the property’s famous Mirador viewpoint provides an elevated platform from which guests can contemplate the surrounding savannah, rivers, and tepuy mountains in meditative silence. The campamento is ideally positioned for river-based excursions by curiara toward Angel Falls, and day trips can be organised to Kavak Cave and the indigenous village of the same name.
