Casino di Sanremo is one of Italy’s four state-licensed casinos and is widely considered the country’s most glamorous and culturally significant gaming destination, operating since 1905 from a magnificent Art Nouveau building perched above the seafront of Sanremo on the Italian Riviera, just a few kilometres from the French border. The casino is most famously associated with the Sanremo Music Festival, Italy’s most prestigious song contest, which has been held at the venue since 1951 and has served as the launchpad for many of Italy’s greatest musical careers.
