Arco by Paco Pérez is the sole Michelin-starred restaurant in Gdańsk and one of Poland’s most distinctive fine dining destinations, occupying a spectacular space on the 33rd floor of the Olivia Star tower, the tallest building in northern Poland. From this remarkable height, diners enjoy an uninterrupted panorama of Gdańsk, Sopot, and the glittering waters of the Baltic Sea, providing a setting that is as memorable as the cuisine itself. The restaurant was created through the vision of celebrated Catalan chef Paco Pérez, whose portfolio includes multiple Michelin-starred restaurants in Spain and Germany, and his long-standing collaborator Antonio Arcieri, a native of Calabria in southern Italy who leads the kitchen day-to-day. The menu is rooted in Mediterranean culinary traditions, informed by Spanish techniques and Italian sensibility, yet increasingly shaped by the extraordinary quality of Polish regional ingredients. A standout example is the jamón risotto, in which rice is infused with rendered Iberian ham fat for an intensely savoury depth. Other dishes weave local Kashubian strawberries, Groser goat cheese, and Baltic seafood into the Mediterranean framework with effortless confidence. Dining at Arco is exclusively through a tasting menu format, with an impressive wine list of over 800 labels to accompany the experience. The interior is elegant and contemporary, and live harp music during dinner adds a distinctive cultural dimension.
