De Landgenoten is a Belgian cooperative dedicated to protecting agricultural land from speculative development and making it accessible to sustainable and organic farmers. Based in Leuven, the organization acquires farmland through citizen investment and provides it to carefully selected farmers through long-term lease arrangements at affordable rates, ensuring the land remains committed to environmentally responsible and agroecological use over the long term.
