GRETA CFA Lyon Metropole

GRETA CFA Lyon Metropole is a public vocational training institution forming part of the Lyon Academy’s network of GRETA CFA centres. Established through the pooling of resources from multiple public secondary schools across Lyon and its surrounding agglomeration, the centre provides a comprehensive range of training programmes for adults, job seekers, apprentices, and employed workers seeking to upskill or change career paths. The centre’s training portfolio spans a wide range of professional fields including construction and building trades, industrial manufacturing and maintenance, IT and digital technology, textile and craft industries, health and social care, and management and business services. With nearly 102 sites across the Ain, Loire, Rhone, and Lyon Metropole territories, and 50 dedicated training advisers, GRETA CFA Lyon Metropole is one of the most geographically accessible vocational training networks in France. It holds Qualiopi certification, the Eduform quality label, and the H+ label for disability inclusion. Since 2019, the centre has also expanded its apprenticeship offer to young people aged 15 to 29 for qualifications from CAP to BTS level. Training can be pursued full-time, part-time, or via workplace alternance, with numerous state and regional funding pathways available.
