INFPC – Institut national pour le developpement de la formation professionnelle continue

The Institut national pour le developpement de la formation professionnelle continue (INFPC) is the national public institute responsible for promoting, coordinating, and developing continuing vocational training in Luxembourg. Established as a key pillar of Luxembourg’s national skills and employability strategy, INFPC operates as the country’s central reference point for professional training information, offering a comprehensive national catalogue of training courses and programmes accessible via the lifelong-learning.lu portal. INFPC manages the national co-financing system for professional training, enabling eligible companies and organisations to receive up to 35 percent public co-funding for approved continuing training expenditures under Luxembourg’s 2008 Continuing Training Law. The institute develops and distributes methodological tools, guides, and research publications for training providers, HR professionals, and employers to improve the quality and accessibility of continuing vocational development across the Grand Duchy. INFPC also coordinates Luxembourg’s participation in European VET policy networks and represents the country in CEDEFOP’s ReferNet VET monitoring framework. Its work spans workforce development, digital skills, green transition training, and inclusive education, ensuring that Luxembourg’s diverse workforce has equitable access to quality continuing professional development.
