La Vela Tokyo

La Vela Tokyo is an established nail salon founded in 2017 with two elegant locations in central Tokyo: Ginza (Ginza SF Building 7F, 1-4-3 Ginza, Chuo-ku) and Aoyama (Aoyama Takano Building 4F, 3-5-4 Kita-Aoyama, Minato-ku). The name la vela means candle in Spanish, reflecting the salon’s philosophy that nail time should be as soothing as candlelight. La Vela specialises in nuance nails — a major Japanese nail art trend characterised by abstract, watercolour-like blended colours and impressionistic designs. The salon is fitted with reclining chairs and healing music, and a seasonal welcome drink and snacks are offered. English menus and English support are available for foreign visitors, and walk-ins are accepted during opening hours. Online booking is available via the salon’s reservation system. La Vela is open weekdays from 11am to 8pm and weekends and public holidays from 10am to 8pm. The Ginza location is 5 minutes from Exit 3 of Ginza 1-chome Station. The salon also operates its own nail school and runs a webshop for nail accessories and jewellery.
