Riverside Custom Nails is a boutique bilingual nail studio in Nakameguro, one of Tokyo’s most stylish and creatively vibrant neighbourhoods. Founded in 2021 by head designer Mariko, the studio has quickly built a devoted following among both Tokyo residents and international visitors seeking a fully English-speaking nail experience. The team brings over a decade of experience across Tokyo, Los Angeles, and Hawaii. Services cover custom gel nail designs from single-colour sets to elaborate hand-painted art (including anime-inspired 3D creations), gel extensions, and gel pedicures. All services include cuticle care and nail health checks; removal of gels applied at the studio is free. Prices range from 9,000 yen (one-colour gel) to 19,500 yen (premium custom art or extensions). Designs can be customised from client references or the team will guide first-timers with creative suggestions. Online booking is via Square. The studio is open every day from 10am to 8pm, including weekends and public holidays, and accepts both card and cash.
