School of Wok was founded by Jeremy Pang, a chef whose family heritage spans three generations of Chinese culinary expertise. Launched initially as a mobile cookery school, it grew into a permanent fixture in the heart of London’s Covent Garden, just moments from Charing Cross station and a short walk from the capital’s famous Chinatown. The school specialises in Asian and Oriental cuisines, offering an extensive menu of more than 30 classes covering Chinese cooking, Dim Sum making, Thai cuisine, Vietnamese dishes, Korean cooking, Japanese techniques, sushi, knife skills, and wok mastery. Classes are led by a diverse team of specialist chef-tutors from across Asia, each with deep personal connections to the traditions they teach. School of Wok caters to individuals, couples, and groups of friends as well as businesses seeking original and engaging team-building events in London. The school won The British Cookery School Awards in 2014 and has since taught over 60,000 students.
