TEC – Technical Education Copenhagen

TEC (Technical Education Copenhagen, Teknisk Erhvervsskole Center) is the second largest vocational training college in Denmark, with a history dating back over 145 years and campuses spread across seven locations in the Greater Copenhagen area. The college offers a broad portfolio of more than 25 accredited Danish VET programmes across technical and commercial disciplines including automotive mechanics, electronics, construction, IT support, energy technology, industrial production, and media design. TEC also provides three Higher Technical Examination Programmes (HTX) and several Adult Vocational Training (AMU) programmes, serving approximately 25,000 students across all programme types in any given year. The college employs around 750 staff members and maintains a close and active relationship with industry and trade organisations across the Copenhagen metropolitan region, ensuring that curriculum content reflects current professional standards and employer expectations. TEC is multicultural in character and strongly internationally oriented, participating in Erasmus+ and other European vocational education initiatives to develop intercultural competence and broaden students’ professional outlooks. Its transport and logistics campus is one of the most modern in northern Europe, reflecting Denmark’s high investment in technical vocational infrastructure.
