What data we collect and why

We collect personal data in the following situations:

  • When you register an account, we collect your name, email address, and password to manage your access to the platform.
  • When you submit a business listing, we collect the information you provide including business name, address, phone number, email, website, photos, and social media links. This data is publicly displayed on webzine.world as part of the directory service.
  • When you leave a comment, we collect your name, email address, IP address, and browser information for spam detection purposes.
  • When you make a payment for a Featured Listing plan, your payment is processed by PayPal or via bank transfer. We do not store credit card information. PayPal’s privacy policy is available at https://www.paypal.com/privacy.
  • When you visit our website, we automatically collect your IP address, browser type, and browsing behavior through cookies and analytics tools.

Legal basis for processing (GDPR)

For visitors from the European Union, we process your personal data on the following legal grounds: performance of a contract when you purchase a listing plan, your consent when you register an account or leave a comment, and our legitimate interest in operating and improving the directory platform.

Business listing data

Data submitted as part of a business listing is publicly visible on webzine.world. By submitting a listing, you confirm that you have the right to publish the information provided and that it is accurate. You can request the removal or modification of your listing data at any time by contacting us at info@noornoor.biz.

Cookies

We use cookies to improve your experience on webzine.world. Necessary cookies ensure the platform functions correctly. Functional cookies remember your preferences and login status. Media

If you upload images to webzine.world, please avoid images containing embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors may download and extract location data from any uploaded images.

Registered user account data is retained until you request deletion. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. You also have the right to object to processing, request data portability, and withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@noornoor.biz. We will respond within 30 days.

Minors

webzine.world is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us immediately at info@noornoor.biz.

Complaints

If you believe your privacy rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Moroccan data protection authority, the Commission Nationale de contrôle de la protection des Données à caractère Personnel (CNDP) at https://www.cndp.ma.
