Description

Lemon Leaf has been one of Prague’s most dependable and well-loved Thai restaurants since 2002, earning a strong following among locals, expats, and tourists in search of genuine Southeast Asian flavours in the heart of the Czech capital. Located on Myslíkova Street in the New Town district close to the Vltava riverbank, the restaurant’s pleasant, warmly lit interior accommodates diners across a spacious dining room with large street-facing windows, and the kitchen delivers Thai cuisine of consistent quality, authenticity, and satisfying heat. The menu is extensive and covers all the classic preparations that define Thai cooking at its best: Tom Yam soup with coconut milk, lemongrass, and lime leaves; glass noodle salads; prawn specialties; stir-fried rice noodle dishes prepared in wok pans; and a wide range of meat, seafood, and vegetarian curry dishes using aromatic pastes in red, green, and massaman traditions. Spice levels are clearly indicated on the menu, allowing diners to calibrate the heat of each dish. The kitchen serves a generous three-option weekday lunch menu at very reasonable prices, which has made Lemon Leaf a favourite with nearby office workers. A solid selection of draft Czech beer and imported spirits rounds out the drinks offer. The restaurant is Thai Select certified, a recognition awarded by the Royal Thai Government to establishments meeting the highest standards of Thai culinary authenticity.
