Museum of the Future

The Museum of the Future is one of Dubai’s most celebrated cultural destinations, located along Sheikh Zayed Road in the city’s Financial District. Officially opened on 22 February 2022, the museum is housed in a striking torus-shaped building clad in stainless steel panels engraved with Arabic calligraphy written by Dubai’s ruler, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The structure has rapidly become one of the most recognisable architectural icons in the world. Spanning seven immersive floors, the museum invites visitors to step into carefully crafted future environments exploring themes of outer space resource development, ecosystem and bioengineering innovation, health and spiritual wellbeing, and near-future technologies addressing global challenges. Each floor functions like a cinematic set from a world yet to come, blending exhibition design, immersive theatre, and themed attraction into a seamless experience that is both educational and deeply engaging. Operated under the Dubai Future Foundation, the museum regularly hosts speaker series, workshops, residential camps, and curated programmes for students, professionals, and families. A dedicated floor serves as an interactive discovery space for children, fostering creativity and future-focused thinking from a young age. The retail space offers exclusive future-inspired merchandise. The museum is open seven days a week from 10am to 6pm and is fully accessible for visitors of all abilities, welcoming guests from across the globe. With its guiding philosophy of See the Future, Create the Future, the Museum of the Future stands as a globally significant platform for bold ideas and human progress, and remains one of the most visited cultural attractions in the Middle East.
