Parkheuvel
الوصف
Parkheuvel is a two-Michelin-starred fine dining restaurant in the Het Park area of Rotterdam, set in a beautiful art deco-influenced building beside the Maas River with sweeping views over the water and the city’s distinctive skyline — one of the finest riverside dining settings in the Netherlands. Chef Erik van Loo leads a kitchen rooted in classical French gastronomy, presenting a cuisine built on authentic flavors, premium seasonal ingredients, and the understanding that cooking at the highest level is fundamentally about creating experiences of genuine pleasure rather than technical display for its own sake. Van Loo has developed long-standing relationships with suppliers who share his vision of quality, and his menus reflect this: precise, expressive dishes that combine classical French technique with a personal sensibility and a consistent commitment to the finest available produce. The art deco interior is elegant and intimate, with the terrace and river views providing an exceptional outdoor dining experience in warmer months. Van Loo’s son Juliën works alongside him as head chef. Parkheuvel has held two Michelin stars since 2009 — it was previously the first restaurant in the Netherlands to earn three, under earlier management — and is consistently ranked among the finest restaurants in Rotterdam.
