Vilniaus Technologiju Mokymo Centras (VTMC)

Vilniaus Technologiju Mokymo Centras (VTMC), the Vilnius Vocational Training Centre of Technologies, is a public budget institution established in 2004 through the merger of four Vilnius vocational schools. It is one of the largest vocational education and training institutions in Lithuania, offering 49 formally accredited programmes across secondary, continuing, and adult vocational education. VTMC’s training catalogue covers industrial technology, CNC machining, electrical installation, IT systems, logistics, environmental management, and automotive mechanics, among other disciplines. The centre’s programmes lead to state-recognised professional qualifications at EQF levels 2 to 4, allowing graduates to enter the workforce directly or progress to higher professional education. VTMC maintains close partnerships with Vilnius-based industrial companies and IT firms, coordinating practical placements and co-developing curricula with employer representatives. The centre also hosts the AKADEMIJA.IT project, a one-year IT professional training pathway developed in partnership with the Infobalt Association and Estonian IT Group. VTMC is an active participant in international projects under Erasmus+, Nordplus, and other European programmes, regularly hosting and sending student and staff mobility participants.
