Le Relais des Moines

Le Relais des Moines is a Michelin-starred fine dining restaurant located in a magnificent 16th-century bastide surrounded by parkland in Les Arcs-sur-Argens, in the heart of the Var wine country near the prestigious Château Sainte-Roseline estate. Chef Sébastien Sanjou — a native of the South-West who fell in love with Provence over two decades ago — has made this sun-drenched terroir his own, forging an exceptional partnership with local market gardener Philippe Auda and sourcing from the finest Mediterranean producers. The cooking is colourful, imaginative, and deeply respectful of each ingredient’s natural flavour: a ripe summer tomato dressed with basil sorbet and burrata and seasoned with premium olive oil and aged vinegar is entirely typical of the chef’s radiant approach. The serene shaded terrace and warmly lit dining room provide an idyllic setting. Service is attentive and unpretentious.
