SplashDown Beach
Description
SplashDown Beach is a popular seasonal outdoor waterpark in Fishkill, New York, in Dutchess County in the Hudson Valley, approximately 70 miles north of New York City. Self-described as America’s Biggest Little Water Park, it delivers an impressive range of attractions within a compact site. Headline rides include the Arctic Mammoth, a nearly six-story family raft ride stretching 600 feet — one of the largest of its kind in the Northeast — the Humunga Half-Pipe, New York’s only zero-gravity water ride, the Megalodon near-vertical raft surge, and the Arctic Plunge Mat Racer five-lane racing slide. The Monster Wave Pool and Croc Creek Wavy Lazy River offer relaxing alternatives, while Shipwreck Lagoon and Pirate’s Plunge provide a themed zone for younger children. Bob the Builder’s Splash Works caters to the smallest visitors with gentle interactive water features. Open seasonally from late May through September, the park opened for the 2025 season in June. A picnic area outside the gates allows guests to bring their own food. The official website is active and tickets can be purchased online.
