Runaway Rapids Waterpark

Runaway Rapids Waterpark is a well-established outdoor waterpark in Keansburg, New Jersey, on the shore of Raritan Bay, accessible from New York City and Northern New Jersey. The tropical landscape design creates a visually engaging environment across the park grounds. Over 18 slides cater to a wide range of thrill levels, alongside a lazy river, two spa pools, a wave pool, and dedicated zones for toddlers and younger children with a kiddie lagoon and interactive play structures including a tipping bucket. The park is staffed by Ellis-trained lifeguards throughout. Facilities include changing rooms, showers, and locker rentals. On-site food service is available in a full-service food area. Runaway Rapids is directly across from the historic Keansburg Amusement Park, and combination tickets allowing access to both attractions are available for a full-day destination. The 2025 operating season ran June 10 through August 26. The park’s Facebook page was updated in April 2026 with a BOGO promotion, confirming active operations.
