Debio

Debio is Norway’s primary certification and inspection organization for organic agriculture and food production. Based in Bjørkelangen in Akershus county, Debio is authorized by the Norwegian government to carry out official control of organic production in accordance with national organic regulations and EU organic standards. The organization inspects and certifies farms, processors, importers, and distributors, ensuring that operators meet all requirements for the use of the Norwegian organic label, the Ø-label.
