Wholesome Valley Farm is a 200-acre sustainable farm located in the rolling hills of Holmes County, Ohio. Known for its holistic approach to food production, the farm raises pasture-raised livestock including chickens, pigs, ducks, and 100 percent grass-fed beef cattle, all on organically managed pastures. Wholesome Valley Farm operates on a deeply integrated model where animal welfare, soil health, and local food access are equally prioritized. The farm maintains a self-serve, honor-system farm store open daily, offering fresh meats, canned goods prepared in the on-site commercial kitchen, baked goods made with local organic flours, and fermented foods. Vegetables are grown chemical-free and sourced from the farm and neighboring operations, with a strong emphasis on local production and minimizing food miles. The farm’s beef herd is 100 percent grass-fed from start to finish, rotationally grazed across organically grown pastures in summer and fed farm-grown hay in winter. Wholesome Valley Farm also sources Guernsey A2A2 milk products from cows raised on the property and partners with Ohio City Provisions in Cleveland to extend its direct-to-consumer reach.
