FN Designs

FN Designs is a unique multidisciplinary art and design studio and gallery space founded in April 2009 by HE Sheikha Wafa Hasher Al Maktoum. The name is derived from ‘fann’ — the Arabic word for art — and the studio embodies that broad and inclusive definition of creative practice. Located at Unit 26 in Alserkal Avenue, FN Designs operates at the intersection of conceptual and visual design, typography, illustration, photography, publication, fashion, and mural art, producing work that is both visually distinctive and culturally engaged. As well as functioning as a gallery presenting solo and group exhibitions of regional and international artists, FN Designs serves as a creative hub hosting art events, workshops, and community activations that make the visual arts accessible to a wide and diverse audience across Dubai. The studio has been a consistent and enthusiastic participant in Alserkal Avenue’s community life, including the Quoz Arts Fest, and has contributed to the development of the creative industries in the UAE through collaborations with designers, artists, photographers, and brands. Services include branding, illustration, corporate identity, in-store graphics, product design, and packaging. Open Saturday to Thursday. A genuinely homegrown and community-centred address that reflects the spirit and diversity of Dubai’s creative scene.
