説明
Poemas by Hermanos Padrón is one of Gran Canaria’s most prestigious fine dining destinations, awarded a Michelin star and located within the historic Hotel Santa Catalina — the oldest hotel in the Canary Islands still in operation — in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The restaurant was created by the Padrón brothers, Juan Carlos and Jonathan, who are celebrated as the finest culinary voices of the Canary Islands, and is led day to day by head chef Iciar Pérez, who translates their vision with considerable skill and personal creativity. Named after the poet Tomás Morales, whose spirit of cultural pride informs the restaurant’s identity, Poemas presents Canarian gastronomy as a serious and sophisticated culinary tradition, using local ingredients — fresh Atlantic seafood, tropical fruits, island-grown vegetables, and regional spices — as the foundation for dishes of elegance and depth. The tasting menus are carefully designed as a journey through the Canary Islands’ diverse landscape and culinary heritage, with each course reflecting the seasonal availability of the island’s extraordinary produce. Presentations are precise and artful, and the progression of the meal builds with a narrative clarity that reflects the Padrón brothers’ long experience of storytelling through food. The dining room takes its aesthetic cues from the hotel’s historic character, with an intimate and refined atmosphere complemented by attentive and knowledgeable service. The wine list features a strong selection of Spanish and Canarian appellations. Poemas is essential for any serious exploration of Canarian fine dining.
