Ayyam Gallery Dubai

Ayyam Gallery is a leading international arts organisation founded in 2006, originally based in Damascus, Syria, with a blue-chip gallery space in Dubai’s Alserkal Avenue serving as its permanent home. The gallery manages the careers of a diverse and distinguished roster of established and emerging artists from the Middle East, including Safwan Dahoul, Tammam Azzam, Rula Halawani, Sadik Kwaish Alfraji, Sama Alshaibi, and Faisal Samra, among others. Beyond its core exhibition programme, Ayyam Gallery operates a widely respected multilingual publishing division that has documented underrepresented facets of global art history, and a custodianship programme that manages the estates of pioneering artists from the region. Collaborative projects in the United States, Europe, Africa, and Asia have extended the gallery’s mandate of expanding the parameters of international art, with works placed in institutions including the Institut du Monde Arabe, LACMA, Centre Pompidou, and the British Museum.
