Enchanted Forest Water Safari

Enchanted Forest Water Safari is New York State’s largest water theme park, set on 60 acres in Old Forge within the Adirondack Mountains. Operating since 1956 and continuously expanded, the park now features more than 50 rides and attractions, including 33 heated outdoor water rides. Highlights include the Killermanjaro high-speed body slide, the Serengeti Surf Hill mat racer, Adirondack Expedition raft rides, and dedicated kiddie areas. Beyond water attractions, the park features classic amusement rides, a daily circus show from the Royal Hanneford Circus featuring acrobatics and comedy, and a Ferris wheel. Private cabana rentals are available online, and 2025 saw the addition of ten updated cabana locations with mobile food ordering and delivery. The park is part of Water Safari Resort, which includes Calypso’s Cove Family Fun Park, Old Forge Camping Resort, and Water’s Edge Inn. Open seasonally from mid-June through Labor Day, a 2026 opening date of June 10 has already been confirmed, and a 2026 season spinning roller coaster is already announced.
