Leila Heller Gallery Dubai opened in November 2015 as the first international location of the New York-founded gallery, established by Leila Heller in 1982. At 16,500 square feet with 32-foot ceilings, it is the largest gallery space in the Middle East, housing three interconnected exhibition halls within Alserkal Avenue. The gallery’s mission centres on promoting creative dialogue between Western artists and those from the Middle East, Central Asia, and Southeast Asia, presenting a roster of both established and emerging contemporary artists whose practices explore identity, memory, and cultural narrative across diverse media. The programme combines solo and group exhibitions with educational panels, film screenings, and scholarly publications, actively engaging the art community at every level. Artists represented include Behrang Samadzadegan, Zeinab Alhashemi, Reza Derakshani, Ran Hwang, and YZ Kami, among others. The gallery also participates in major international art fairs. Open Monday to Saturday, 10am to 7pm.
