Kjolle is a world-ranked fine dining restaurant in Lima’s Barranco district, led by chef Pía León — one of the most celebrated chefs in Latin America and a major force in the global recognition of Peruvian gastronomy. Co-located with Central at Casa Tupac, and connected to the Mater Iniciativa research collective, Kjolle draws on Peru’s extraordinary biodiversity to create dishes of great visual impact and complex, layered flavour. León’s cooking is intensely personal and deeply rooted in native Peruvian ingredients — many sourced directly from indigenous communities across the country — presented through a contemporary fine dining lens that reflects her technical skill, aesthetic sensibility, and passionate advocacy for Peru’s culinary heritage. The tasting menu evolves constantly, driven by seasonal and ecological availability rather than fixed programmes. The restaurant has been ranked among the World’s 50 Best Restaurants and was named best restaurant in Latin America by the same list in 2024.
