La Table de Manon is a Michelin one-star restaurant located in the hamlet of Grandhan, just a short drive from Durbuy in the Belgian Ardennes. Chef Manon Schenck, originally from the Munster valley in Alsace and winner of the Best Apprentice in France title, leads the kitchen with remarkable creativity and technical precision. Her cuisine draws on a rich trifecta of influences, combining the briny freshness of Brittany, the refined traditions of Alsace, and the rustic bounty of the Ardennes. The menu places seafood and shellfish at its heart, with a particular passion for lobster, which appears in iconic preparations including a lobster tail encased in melt-in-the-mouth flaky pastry. The wine list, curated by co-owner and restaurant director David Delmas, features an intelligently selected range of predominantly French wines, with a special nod to Alsatian producers and the burgeoning Belgian wine scene.
