Green Energy Park

Green Energy Park is Morocco’s premier research, development, and innovation platform dedicated to solar and renewable energy technologies. Located in Benguerir within the Mohammed VI Green City, the facility is co-managed by Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) and the Institute for Research in Solar Energy and New Energies (IRESEN). The park serves as a hub for testing, prototyping, and validating new photovoltaic and concentrated solar power technologies under real-world Moroccan climatic conditions. Green Energy Park fosters collaboration between academic institutions, international research bodies, and industrial partners to accelerate the development of cost-effective and high-performance renewable energy solutions. It plays a key role in building Morocco’s technical expertise, attracting foreign investment, and supporting the country’s ambition to become a regional leader in clean energy.
