La Table is the gastronomic restaurant of the Clarance Hotel, Lille’s foremost Relais & Châteaux five-star address, occupying an 18th-century mansion at 32 rue de la Barre in the heart of Vieux Lille. The restaurant has held a continuous Michelin star and is widely regarded as one of the finest dining destinations in northern France. Chef Alexandre Miquel, a native of Béthune who trained with Marc Meurin before taking sole command in 2023, brings a precise and passionate sensibility to menus that celebrate locally sourced produce including fish caught by small artisanal boats on the Boulogne coast, fresh herbs from the hotel’s own garden, and carefully selected regional meats and vegetables. Signature preparations have included scallops from Boulogne in carpaccio with fermented black radish, saddle of lamb in a casserole with glazed carrots, and langoustine quenelles with Osciètre caviar. Guests may dine in one of two historic rooms adorned with period woodwork, in the intimate library where a single private table awaits beside the grand spiral staircase, or on the magnificent terrace overlooking the wooded park in the warmer months. The restaurant is open Tuesday through Saturday for both lunch and dinner, with Sunday lunch available, providing one of Lille’s most complete and consistently refined fine dining experiences in an atmosphere of timeless elegance.
