Green America

Green America is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization founded in 1982 and headquartered in Washington, D.C., dedicated to harnessing economic power to create a socially just and environmentally sustainable economy. One of its core focus areas is transforming the U.S. food and agriculture system through education, certification, and advocacy programs. Green America operates the Green Business Certification program, which helps businesses demonstrate their commitment to social and environmental responsibility, including sustainable sourcing and supply chain practices.
