NOTE — PERMANENTLY CLOSED. Heron & Grey was a Michelin-starred fine dining restaurant in Blackrock Market, south Dublin, co-founded in 2016 by chef Damien Grey and general manager Andrew Heron. The restaurant earned a Michelin star within ten months of opening — an exceptional achievement — and held it through 2018. It was celebrated for its creative, no-choice tasting menus, natural wine program, and the extraordinary intimacy of its tiny dining room. In December 2018, Andrew Heron announced his departure from the business to spend more time with his family. The restaurant closed at the end of January 2019, after which Damien Grey undertook a renovation and relaunched the space as Liath, which has since earned two Michelin stars. Heron & Grey ceased to exist as an entity in January 2019 and should be removed from any active restaurant database.
